Alloy has been Acquired by Zelnick Media

Below is a link to an Adweek article announcing the acquisition of Alloy Media, our largest agency account for ad sales.  It doesn't appear that the acquisition will have much impact on operations:

  1. Here's a comment by Mark Businski, VP of Media Services at Alloy:

    "Based on the size of Alloy, having the company go private is actually a good thing. It will make the reporting and expenses in reporting much easier and lowers costs. The company went public when it was still a combined apparel and media company. Now that we are just a media company since the apparel portion of the business has been spun off makes it now more efficient to be private. So, we do not see any changes with our operations or changes that will affect our relationships with College Newspapers and advertisers."
